In the past, shooting for editorial, I would use Av mode and shoot at ISO800. Moving quickly between locations of different light intensity I felt I didn't have enough time to adjust ISO to the lowest possible setting at each location and ISO800 still offered me enough information with which to edit.
Shooting with a studio set up and being more deliberate I can finally shoot at ISO100 and the difference in the images from ISO800 is night and day. The images are so much sharper and clearer with the quality far outstripping anything I was shooting at ISO800.
